Hannah Ewens is an award-winning writer and editor, specialising in music, spirituality, wellness and gender. She has been widely published in the Guardian, GQ, Vogue, the Independent, the Sunday Times Style, The Paris Review, Times Literary Supplement, the Observer, Empire, Kerrang! and Crack.

In 2020 she presented a paper on emo and the band My Chemical Romance at the Museum of Pop Culture’s Pop Conference. Her long read, The Great British TERF Wars, about anti-trans sentiment in British media was widely shared after it was posted on VICE.
She holds an MA in Journalism from City, University of London and an MFA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London.
